LITERACY PROJECT

Reading and writing are useful skills necessary for everybody in that globalized world. But in Cote d'Ivoire, we notice that many women are illiterate. They reach a rate of 56 percent of the population. The aim of this project is to eliminate illiteracy among women by increasing the literacy rate of women in the country. In our program we teach women how to read and how to write during a short period of time for their professional insertion.

Poverty touches many people in Africa mostly women and children. Women live a lot of matters like: violence, illiteracy, unpaid work and many injustices. Children may live sometimes worse conditions that women. Some of them are abandoned by their family and suffer from abuse by adults.

So, the aim of our organization is to empower women and to support children living difficulties like the orphan children.

Our motto is: Give Love and Hope to Those Who Have Lost It.
